Today, it’s the turn of Relationship Manager for BD, Stewart Weatherill

Hi Stewart! Summarise your role in a couple of sentences.

To offer businesses an opportunity to take payments at sensible interest rates with the reassurance of excellent customer services, technical support, and account management.

Sounds good. What’s your favourite part of the job?

Sitting with customers looking to provide them a better service than they are used to.

What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?

Tall, sarcastic, efficient (I’m probably completely wrong, but I will agree!)

Best known in the Yorkshire Payments office for…

Not being there! (I’m face to face with clients)

What do you think makes Yorkshire Payments stand out from its competitors?

The overall package of service and customer care.

Time to blow your own trumpet! What’s the nicest bit of feedback you’ve received from a customer or colleague?

Just a smile and a handshake, happy that I have dealt with them honestly and fairly.

What three words do you think describe the Yorkshire Payments way of doing things?

Straightforward, Uncomplicated, Transparent.

What are we most likely to find you doing when you’re not at work?

Playing Drums in a band, Playing cricket or golf, at a gym, or socialising with family and friends. 

What’s your favourite spot in Yorkshire?

The dales, where I live. Probably somewhere near the Fountaine Pub at Linton.

And your favourite Yorkshire saying?

If you ever do ‘owt for nowt, do it for thi sen!

Today when I bought a sandwich

Last thing you bought on your card?

Renewing my passport.
