We caught up with one of our Relationship Managers to find out what he thinks about the future of card spending and financial technology.

Q1: What is your job role within the business? tell us about the role.

Answer: Relationship Manager, to meet new clients on a face-to-face basis and  relay our unique business proposition. I also will deal with any queries and questions relating to all formats of merchant services. 

Q2: How do you think that card payments in the UK will evolve over the next 5 years?

Answer: The payment landscape has gone through a significant transformation in recent years. Technological advancements have led to step changes in innovation, with payments becoming faster. In my opinion the marketplace will continue to evolve and grow. 

Q3: What’s something you enjoy about the business and the services we provide to our clients?

Answer: We pride ourselves on the hands-on approach and making any company’s transition a seamless and effortless event. 

Once we have a client within Yorkshire payments client base, we have an easy contact strategy. This simple and effective approach seems to be lacking within the industry. 

Transaction rates: We are one of the cheapest within the industry and with our easy contact strategy our proposition is second to none.
